    Since its formation, the Government of Telangana has taken a keen interest in encouraging a culture of innovation within the state and has been working relentlessly to develop a holistic start-up ecosystem, establishing itself as a thought leader by pioneering an innovation ecosystem model for the rest of the country to follow.

    The Innovation Policy

    Telangana is one of the first states in India to launch a start-up policy and create a supportive ecosystem around it. Within two years of the formation of the state, the Innovation Policy was launched, defining a holistic approach to bridge the gaps between start-ups and government. It stands on five key pillars:
