    Export Assistance

    Support for exporters, from first consignment onward.

    The Department monitors exports from the state and passes trade enquiries to prospective entrepreneurs. It participates in trade fairs and exhibitions to facilitate exporters — and runs the infrastructure and the guidance that sit behind them.

    What the department does

    Three lines of work.

    Trade promotion

    Conducting and participating in national and international trade exhibitions and seminars, taking and receiving trade delegations, providing export guidance to trade and industry, and disseminating export and import information.

    Trade infrastructure

    Container freight stations, inland container depots, cold storage plants, warehouses, free trade warehousing zones, logistics hubs, truck parking terminals, and trade fair complexes with exhibition and convention centres.

    Golkonda brand

    Manufacture and sale of “Golkonda” brand note books and plain copier paper, both in the government sector and on the open market.
