CM Enthralls Top CEOs Roundtable in New York

CM Revanth Reddy pitches Telangana and the Future City project to top CEOs at a roundtable hosted by India's Consulate General in New York.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy addressed over 20 corporate leaders representing sectors including pharmaceuticals, information technology, biotechnology, electric vehicles, and shipping at an official roundtable hosted by India’s Consulate General in New York. The working luncheon focused on positioning Telangana as an attractive investment destination and alternative to China for manufacturing operations.

The Chief Minister opened his remarks with a memorable statement: “I am here to speak from my heart and to share my state’s dreams and my people’s aspirations.” He emphasized Telangana’s established strengths in software, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and defense sectors.

A central focus of the presentation was the proposed Future City project, described as “India’s first Net Zero Carbon city” that will serve as a hub for artificial intelligence, medical tourism, sports, software, and pharmaceutical development. The Chief Minister characterized this initiative as representing “a second round of gold rush” with exponential growth potential.

IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu elaborated on supportive industry policies and Telangana’s historical development as a technology and pharmaceutical powerhouse. Corporate attendees included executives from Corning, KKR, Cigna, JPMorgan Chase, Accenture, and Deloitte, among others.
