How the clock runs
Telangana is building a leading position across the textile value chain, supported by a strong cotton base, large-scale apparel manufacturing and growing technical-textile capabilities. Kakatiya Mega Textile Park (PM Mitra Park), Sircilla and Chandanvelly provide industrial space for spinning, apparel, technical textiles, non-wovens and recycled fibres.
Kitex, Youngone and Ganesha Ecosphere have already committed about $400 million to KMTP, and Welspun, Shahi Exports, Texport, Gokaldas Images and home-grown yarn companies are further strengthening the manufacturing base.
With strong cotton availability, dedicated textile infrastructure, a skilled workforce and connectivity by rail, road, air and sea, Telangana offers investors a location from which to capture greater value in the sector. Enterprises that establish operations now can secure space and build supply linkages alongside these anchor investors while the clusters are still taking shape.
