IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu asked the representatives of the company to complete the expansion work of Microsoft data centers by next year and increase the activities. The minister disclosed that Hyderabad will reach the top position in the fields of state-of-the-art data security and cloud solutions if the expansion is completed.

Hon’ble Minister held a review meeting on Monday with representatives of Microsoft at the Secretariat on solving land issues related to data centers and infrastructure. Microsoft officials bring to the notice of the Minister that there are some problems with the local panchayat regarding the 22 acres acquired in Mekaguda for the data center. Hon’ble Minister ordered the Ranga Reddy District Collector K. Shashanka to resolve the matter by evening.
