BioAsia 2026: Opella Healthcare, Vaksindo Animal Health, Tredence and RxPropellant Announce Hyderabad Investments
At BioAsia 2026, CM Revanth Reddy secures GCC and manufacturing investments from Opella Healthcare, Vaksindo, Tredence and RxPropellant.
CM Revanth Reddy affirmed that the government will provide full support for investments in the Life Sciences sector in Hyderabad, noting that several companies have already established Global Capability Centres headquartered in the city.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the prestigious BioAsia 2026 global summit in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister, along with Industries Minister Sri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, met representatives of leading global Life Sciences companies.
The Chief Minister resolved to set up a dedicated zone in Bharat Future City for the establishment of GCCs and innovation centres in the biosciences sector.
Several agreements were reached during the meetings with leading companies:
Global consumer healthcare company Opella Healthcare will set up a GCC spanning 42,000 sq. ft. and will soon expand operations, creating 500 jobs within the next year.
Vaksindo Animal Health, part of Indonesia’s JAPFA group, will set up a state-of-the-art BSL-3 vaccine manufacturing centre at Genome Valley, producing vaccines for poultry, livestock, swine and aquaculture.
Leading AI and data science company Tredence Inc. will expand its Hyderabad-based operations in AI-driven healthcare and life sciences, setting up an approximately 18,000 sq. ft. dedicated innovation hub.
To further strengthen India’s Life Sciences ecosystem, RxPropellant will establish a large-scale Life Sciences campus at Genome Valley, Hyderabad. Spread across roughly 12 acres with 1 million sq. ft., this state-of-the-art research centre with complete infrastructure will become fully operational within the next six years.
