CM Announces the Global AI Summit and Unveils the Logo
CM Revanth Reddy announces the Global AI Summit for September 5-6 at HICC and unveils the event logo.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri A. Revanth Reddy announced the much-anticipated Global AI Summit to be scheduled on September 5th and 6th, 2024, at HICC, Hyderabad. Hon’ble Minister for ITE&C, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs, Sri D. Sridhar Babu, along with Special Chief Secretary of the ITE&C Industries & Commerce Departments, Sri Jayesh Ranjan unveiled the logo.
During the logo launch, the Chief Minister stated, “The Global AI Summit represents our commitment to positioning our state at the forefront of technological innovation. We eagerly welcome thought leaders and innovators from around the world to Hyderabad.”
The summit theme is “Making AI Work for Everyone,” aiming to explore how Artificial Intelligence can benefit and empower society. The event will feature keynote addresses and thought-provoking sessions by global AI experts, tech industry leaders, policymakers, and academicians discussing AI’s potential for social good, safe AI practices, industry transformation, and innovation.
Minister Sri D. Sridhar Babu stated the summit “showcases Telangana’s dedication to harnessing the power of AI” and will serve as “a key platform for knowledge sharing, fostering innovation, and exploring AI’s potential to tackle global challenges.”
The summit will feature over 50 speakers attracting 2,000 delegates from industry, academia, startups, government and foundations. Attendees will enjoy keynote addresses, panel discussions, fireside chats, and lightning demos of cutting-edge AI technologies. The event will include the launch of “Telangana’s AI Compendium” and other announcements. Support comes from 15+ partners, with the Emerging Technologies Wing of the ITE&C Department facilitating the prestigious event.
