CM Sri A. Revanth Reddy Participated in Launch of WE Hub Women Acceleration Programme at JRC Convention, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

CM Revanth Reddy launches WE Hub's Women Acceleration Programme, directing preventive healthcare screening and ID cards for SHG members.

The Chief Minister announced the launch of the “Women Acceleration Programme” under WE Hub Hyderabad’s initiative. He stated that the government aims to “empower women economically and ensure financial stability” for self-help group members across the state.

The CM directed officials to issue identification cards with unique numbers or QR codes to SHG members. He emphasized creating comprehensive health and financial databases to enable preventive healthcare screenings for all participants.

The government has already allocated 150 buses to women’s groups for RTC operations and plans to distribute 600 additional buses. Under the Mahalakshmi scheme, women save approximately ₹5,000 monthly through free RTC travel.

The state is promoting women’s participation in various sectors including cylinder distribution, school management, solar power generation, and petroleum retail operations. A 3.5-acre marketing facility near Hyderabad’s Hi-Tech City supports women-led enterprises.

Regarding healthcare, the CM noted: “Health checkups must prevent issues rather than merely treat them” after problems arise, underscoring preventive care importance.

MP Raghuveera Reddy, MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy, WE Hub representatives, and self-help group members attended the event.
