CM Revanth Reddy inaugurates a 32 GWh battery cell manufacturing unit at Amara Raja Giga Corridor, Mahabubnagar, where 400 of 700 employees are women.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated a Customer Qualification Plant (CQP) manufacturing unit at the Amara Raja Giga Corridor in Divitipally, Mahabubnagar district, announcing imminent positive developments for the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project.
The administration is pursuing central and state government approvals for utilizing 90 TMC of water under this initiative. Concurrently, discussions progress regarding 30 TMC water allocation for the Dindi Project, addressing irrigation challenges in the Krishna basin region.
During his address, the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to transforming Mahabubnagar into a model district through coordinated development in irrigation, education, and industrial sectors. He highlighted the 32 GWh battery manufacturing capacity and noted that 400 of the facility’s 700 employees are women, reflecting progress in gender-inclusive employment.
Officials including Ministers D. Sridhar Babu, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Vakiti Srihari, alongside Amara Raja Group Chairman Galla Jayadev and MP D.K. Aruna, participated in the ceremony.
