Blaize Signs MoU with Telangana for Electronics, Semi-Conductor, and AI Initiatives
California-based AI hardware company Blaize signs an MoU to expand its Hyderabad R&D facility with state support.
Telangana’s government has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding with Blaize, a California-based technology company, during the World Economic Forum in Davos to advance the state’s work in electronics, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence.
Blaize specializes in creating energy-efficient AI hardware and comprehensive software solutions for data-center AI computing. The company currently operates a research and development facility in Hyderabad and plans to expand these operations with state support.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized that establishing Telangana as a premier AI data-center hub represents a “key priority for achieving a $3 trillion economic target over the next two decades.” He highlighted the state’s progress in artificial intelligence, data centers, quantum computing, and automation sectors.
The IT and Industries Minister announced the launch of the Telangana AI Innovation Hub as a strategic center for AI-driven growth. The discussions included potential pilot initiatives in healthcare diagnostics, manufacturing automation, and energy efficiency applications.
Blaize’s Co-Founder and CEO Dinakar Munagala met with state officials to explore collaborative opportunities for scaling the company’s engineering capabilities and supporting advanced AI talent development in the region.
