The Chief Minister, alongside Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, inaugurated the Google for Startups Hub at T-Hub in Hyderabad. The facility aims to strengthen the regional startup ecosystem and offer targeted assistance for innovative and product-based ventures.
Addressing the gathering, CM Revanth Reddy stated: “We aim for at least 100 startups from Hyderabad to become unicorns, with a valuation of $1 billion or more.”
He emphasized that by 2034, at least 10 of these startups should achieve super-unicorn status. The Chief Minister drew inspiration from Google’s journey, which commenced in a California garage in 1998.
The Telangana Rising 2047 Global Summit was recently organized to present the state’s vision to national and international stakeholders, targeting a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047.
The Chief Minister highlighted the region’s successful track record, noting that numerous Hyderabad-based startups in software services, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences have grown substantially over the past 25 years.
He compared startup success to football, emphasizing the need for teamwork, perseverance, and coordination. The government and Google will collaborate to provide necessary resources and ecosystem support for startup growth.
