Inauguration of Global AI Summit
CM Revanth Reddy inaugurates the two-day Global AI Summit at HICC Hyderabad, unveiling the Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM).
Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy inaugurated a two-day Global AI Summit at the HICC, Hyderabad on Thursday.
The Chief Minister emphasized that “technology and innovation are significant to bring a transformation in the society” and noted that progress requires technological advancement.
He referenced historical technological breakthroughs including trains, airplanes, electricity, and computers, highlighting how these innovations fundamentally transformed the world.
Regarding artificial intelligence specifically, the CM stated it represents “the best innovation in the world of technology today.” He acknowledged common concerns about job losses when new technologies emerge, referencing how India missed earlier industrialization opportunities.
The government has committed to promoting artificial intelligence and has already implemented multiple measures. The Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM), developed in partnership with NASSCOM, will help the state implement an AI framework.
The Chief Minister welcomed attendees to “the City of the Future,” inviting participation in establishing Hyderabad as a prominent global AI hub.
