L’Oréal to Inaugurate the World’s First Beauty-Tech Hub in Hyderabad in November 2026
L'Oréal to open the world's first beauty-tech Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, its worldwide hub for AI and data analytics.
L’Oréal announced plans to establish “the world’s first beauty-tech Global Capability Centre (GCC)” in Hyderabad, with inauguration scheduled for November 2026. The announcement followed a meeting between Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and L’Oréal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The facility will function as L’Oréal’s worldwide hub for innovation, technology, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and supply chain operations. Solutions developed at the center will support digital transformation initiatives across L’Oréal’s global operations.
Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu emphasized that the investment demonstrates Hyderabad’s expanding role beyond med-tech and health-tech sectors. He noted that other global corporations including Vanguard, Netflix, McDonald’s, Heineken, Costco, and Marriott have similarly established GCCs in the city.
The delegation presented information about Telangana’s AI Innovation Hub (TAIH) to L’Oréal leadership. Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar invited the company to explore future manufacturing opportunities in Telangana, which the CEO received positively.
