US-Based Sargad Signs MoU with Telangana, to Invest Rs 1,000 Crore Over 3-5 Years

SARGAD, a US aerospace and defence industrial platform, commits up to ₹1,000 crore and explores an aviation MRO facility in Telangana.

US-based industrial platform SARGAD has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Telangana’s government, committing to invest up to ₹1,000 crore over three to five years in a phased manner.

The agreement was formalized during discussions between SARGAD Founder and CEO Srinivas Thota and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos.

SARGAD specializes in aerospace, defence, automotive, and advanced manufacturing sectors, focusing on “long-cycle, certification-driven, export-oriented industrial businesses.”

The company expressed interest in establishing an aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility within the state.

The Chief Minister outlined Telangana’s integrated economic development framework comprising three zones: CURE for services, PURE for manufacturing, and RARE for agriculture and green economy initiatives.

Telangana is developing new airports at Warangal and Adilabad, with the Chief Minister inviting SARGAD to explore establishing an MRO facility at either location.

The government assured competitive incentives for industrial development in both Warangal and Adilabad regions.

IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu discussed potential opportunities for state MSMEs in equipment manufacturing and supply chains.
