Hon’ble CM Sri A. Revanth Reddy Participated in Inauguration of Allu Arjun’s Allu Cinemas at Kokapet, Hyderabad

CM Revanth Reddy inaugurates Allu Cinemas at Kokapet, India's largest Dolby multiplex, and pitches Telangana as a hub for a global film industry.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated “Allu Cinemas,” described as the country’s largest Dolby multiplex, constructed by producer Allu Aravind’s family in Kokapet, Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister emphasized that “the film industry should be recognized as a great sector and participate in Telangana’s development,” while committing government support for the cinema field’s growth.

He articulated a vision for Telugu cinema to develop similarly to the state’s established IT and pharmaceutical industries, aspiring for productions that compete globally rather than merely consuming Hollywood films.

According to the CM, films significantly influence middle-class audiences and shape life decisions from a social perspective, making quality local production essential.

He advocated establishing a film knowledge hub in Telangana, noting that “creating knowledge hubs enables production of world-class cinema,” positioning Telugu films to rival international standards.

The inauguration included Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, MLA Kunduru Jayaveer, actor Allu Arjun, Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju, and numerous film industry representatives.
