Hon’ble Minister Sri D. Sridhar Babu Invites Utah Investors to Telangana, Emphasises Long-Term Global Partnerships

A Utah delegation led by World Trade Center-Utah COO David Carlebach explores aerospace, defence and AI-healthcare partnerships with Telangana.

Telangana Industries and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has invited industrialists from the U.S. State of Utah to explore investment opportunities in Telangana, stating that “the State has emerged as a national role model in Ease of Doing Business.”

The minister emphasized that his administration focuses on “long-term value creation, co-creation, and contributing to the global economy through sustainable partnerships.”

A high-level delegation from Utah, led by David Carlebach, Managing Director and COO of World Trade Center–Utah, visited the Secretariat on Friday. The group represented aerospace, defence, advanced manufacturing, technology, AI-based healthcare, life sciences, clean energy, education and innovation sectors.

During discussions, both parties explored bilateral cooperation opportunities including innovation, technology transfer, joint research, and skill development initiatives.

Minister Sridhar Babu presented details on Telangana’s industrial policies, investor-friendly reforms, sector-specific investment advantages, and available industry incentives.

He encouraged connections between Utah-based organizations and Telangana’s innovation platforms including T-Hub, T-Works, and WE-Hub, while proposing collaborative research programs with universities such as University of Utah, Brigham Young University, and Neumont University in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

Carlebach responded positively, expressing Utah’s enthusiasm for strengthening cooperation with the progressive and fast-growing state.
