The Minister of Economy and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, met the Chief Minister-led Telangana Rising delegation on Tuesday. He highlighted the immense scope for development under the Bharat Future City project — India’s first Net-Zero Greenfield Smart City. Spread across 30,000 acres, the city is envisioned as a multi-sectoral, sustainable urban–industrial hub, with dedicated zones for AI, education, healthcare, industries, residential living, and entertainment.

H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, a key figure in the UAE’s economic diversification and modernization efforts, expressed his government’s interest in partnering with Telangana. He proposed the formation of a joint task force, comprising officials from both governments, to ensure the speedy implementation of the project.
He also sought a strategic partnership between the UAE food cluster and Telangana, with a focus on strengthening the rural and agriculture-based economy. IT and Industries Minister Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Revenue Minister Shri Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, along with senior officials, were part of the Telangana Rising delegation.
