Introduction to WE Hub

WE HUB is India’s first and only State led incubator for women entrepreneurs – with the primary goal to promote and foster women entrepreneurship by way of Incubation, Access to Government and Building a collaborative ecosystem. Initiated as a response to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in 2017, the inception of WE HUB was announced on November 2017 with operations from March 2018.

WE HUB works with the mission to ensure that all women entrepreneurs in the country have access to technical, financial, governmental and policy support required to start-up scale up sustain and accelerate with global market access. The work of WE HUB is primarily in the fields of providing access to technical, financial, government and policy support required to start-up, scale up and accelerate with global market access, to all women entrepreneurs in the country.

OUR COLLABORATIONS

Microsoft Garage:

WE HUB communities will have access to visit and use Microsoft Garage event space and facilities in accordance with their standards and procedures, while Microsoft Garage will have access to visit and use, WE HUB event spaces and facilities. This partnership will also give access to WE HUB entrepreneurs to mentors from Microsoft Garage.

Swissnex:

WE HUB partnered with Swissnex to establish closer links between Swiss Institutions and organizations in Telangana. This partnership would facilitate Telangana based Startups, academic institutions, and innovation ecosystem stakeholders to share their best practices, leverage expertise, and connect with their Swiss counterparts.

University of Basel:

FEMtrepreneurs is a program launched in collaboration between WE-HUB and the University of Basel. The objective of the program is to ensure that best practices among women entrepreneurs, across borders are exchanged through a start-up exchange and immersion program. The partnership will initiate a startup exchange program between India and Switzerland.

University Of Cambridge:

WE Hub has partnered with Cambridge JBS for a Social internship program for students from Cambridge Uni. to work with startups at WE-HUB.

Meet our CEO

After a professional journey of over 15 years as an engineer in various multinational corporations in the United States, Deepthi joined as the Joint Director for Electronics Promotions with the Government of Telangana.

Her knowledge and experience paved the way for defining various policies and creating investor collaterals in the sector. She was also instrumental in enabling investments through MSME and large-scale industries in the State of Telangana. In February of 2018, Deepthi was appointed as the CEO of WE HUB, a state led incubator exclusively for women entrepreneurs whose mandate is to eliminate financial and societal barriers while assisting them to succeed in their enterprises.
